This older teens/adult lesson is suitable for online or small group teaching. The main focus is cars, vocabulary in British and American English related to cars (trunk/boot etc.), conversation about the different makes of cars and their reputation (reliable, sturdy etc.), and the student's/students' experiences of driving. Environmental concerns are NOT covered here; there is a separate PowerPoint available to address these issues. This PowerPoint can easily be stretched over 2 lessons, and there is a lot of scope for discussion here. It is quite complex, but please don't let that put you off - this presentation is tried and tested over many classes and students. note: There are no 'Class Notes'. The lesson does not suit a large group - it works better as one-to-ne or a small group.
